Sligo swimmer airlifted to safety
A swimmer has been airlifted to safety in County Sligo. It happened yesterday afternoon when he was spotted in difficulty near Rosses Point. Irish Coast Guard Search and Rescue Operations Manager Gerard O’Flynn says it underlines the importance of being alert at sea.
