The death has occurred of Sr. Margaret Mary McNamee
Tearmann Einde, An Spidéal and formerly Convent of Mercy, Swinford, Co. Mayo and Bride Street, Loughrea, Co. Galway
Peacefully in the loving care of the nursing staff in St. Brendan’s Community Nursing Unit, Loughrea.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Delia, brothers Vin, Clement, Kieran, Laurence and Sean.
Sr. Margaret will be sadly missed by her brother Fr. Ambrose O.D.C., Sisters of Mercy, many cousins, extended family and wonderful friends.
Sr. Margaret will lie in repose in Kilboy’s funeral home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Sunday 16th October from 4pm to 6pm, followed by removal to St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea.
By request of Sr. Margaret Mary’s family this reposal will be a walk through only, those attending the reposal in Kilboy’s are asked to refrain from shaking hands.
Sr. Margaret’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Brendan’s Cathedral on Monday 17th October at 12.30pm, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the Carmelite Abbey Cemetery, Loughrea.
