Pe-deceased by his loving mother and father, Bernadette and Martin. Sadly missed, and much loved, by his step-mother Agnes, (St. Attractas Nursing Home Charlestown), brothers Paul and Eugene, sisters Fiona, Agatha, Mary and Stella, sisters-in-law Breda, Francesca and Anna, brothers-in-law Dermot and Simon – godson, nieces, nephews grand-nieces and grand-nephews and his friends, Stephen, James, Alan, Martin and John.

With our grateful thanks to the staff of St. John’s Nursing Home Sligo for the love, care and attention shown to Shane in his three years living there. To the staff of Medical North, Sligo General Hospital for his care over the past week and to the staff of North West Hospice for their kindness and care in making sure Shane’s last days were pain-free and peaceful.

Shane will repose at St. Therese’s Funeral Home, Curry Village, Curry, Co. Sligo F91 NY30 on Tuesday evening, November 8th, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm with removal afterwards to Fiona and Dermot’s house in Rathscanlon, Tubbercurry where he will also repose.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, November 9th, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Curry at 9:30 a.m. Burial to take place afterwards in Deansgrange Cemetery Dublin for burial at 2:30pm.
