October 19th 2023, peacefully, in her 100th year, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Leo and daughter Nuala. Rita will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Carmel (Nairn) sons Joe, Noel, Frankie, Michael and Raymond, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Friday evening (October 20th) from 6p.m. until 8p.m. Removal to St. Teresa’s Church, Corrigreenroe, on Saturday morning to arrive for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kileenan Cemetery, Knockvicar.
