Richard (Richie) Leheny, Carns, Aclare, Co. Sligo, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Anne and his niece Joanne Westwood (nee Collins). Richie will be dearly missed by his wife Maureen, his children Maeve and Roy, son-in-law Donal Fallon (Mullinabrenna, Achonry) his grandsons Jason and Aidan, brothers Fr Bernie (Aclare and California), James and sister-in-law Ann (Buncrana, Co. Donegal), sister Mary and brother-in-law Michael Collins (Banada), brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law John & Nuala McCarrick and Veronica McCarrick (Montaigh, Curry), Tommy McCarrick (Sligo), Ann & Michael Regan (Killala), Evelyn & James Johnston (Manchester), nieces, nephews and extended relatives, friends and neighbours.

Richie will be reposing in the Brennan Funeral Home Kilmactigue (F91 P294) on this Sunday evening from 4 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to arrive in The Church of The Holy Rosary Kilmactigue at 7.30 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon with the funeral proceeding to Kilmactigue cemetery.
