The death has occurred of Paddy Egan,

O’Connell Street, Ballymote, Co. Sligo,

2nd April, 2021.
Very peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen and sons Pat and Pearse. Adored father of Jacqueline, Annette, Rory, Lorraine and Caitríona. Daughter-in-law Teresa, sons-in-law Feargal, Seamus and Maurice. Sisters Ita, Olive, Imelda, the late Mollie and Kathleen. Brothers-in-law Andy and Louis (Paddy & Sean both deceased) and many nieces and nephews. Paddy will be remembered with deepest love and affection by his cherished grandchildren Hannah Jane, Alex, Ella, Charlotte, Isobel, Jack and Molly.

Paddy’s loss will be greatly felt by his very close friends and the Ballymote community, which he so loved and was part of for more than nine decades.

May Paddy rest in peace.

In line with Government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to leave your personal message in the ‘Condolence’ section below.

Removal on Monday, 5th April to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Saint Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. Friends are welcome to stand at a social distance in the churchyard, along the route to the cemetery or can view the mass on the following live-stream link https://ballymoteparish.org/webcam/
