March 14th 2022, (former staff Cloonamahon Care Centre, Co. Sligo) peacefully, in the presence of her beloved family, following a short illness, bravely fought. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Josephine, brothers Charlie (Riverstown) and Bernie (Tourlestrane).

Mary was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her devoted husband and best friend Joe (Josie) sons John, Joseph (Joey) daughter Linda, daughter-in-law Jackie, partners, Jo and Martin and her seven grandchildren Ciara, Aisling, Megan, Sheona, Paul, Dara and Ryan, brothers John (Riverstown), and Paddy (Dublin), sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Tuesday evening (March 15th) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. (Walk through only please)

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Riverstown, on Wednesday (March 16th) at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey.

The family wish to thank sincerely, Olivia Grady and staff of the Oncology Unit, Sligo University Hospital and also all other staff for their kindness to Mary in her final days.
