May 5, 2021; peacefully after a brief illness. Predeceased by his father Francis and his brother Kevin. Will always be remembered and loved by his wife Niamh, daughter Áine and son Darragh, sadly missed by his mother Mary, brothers Peter and Brendan, sisters Caroline and Carmel, brothers in-law, sisters-in-law, father-in-law Brian, mother-in-law Patricia, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and close friends.

Gerard’s funeral cortege will leave his home on Saturday morning at 11am proceeding to St Colmcille’s Church Rathcormac for Requiem mass at 12pm. Burial afterwards in Rathcormac cemetery. Due to Government Guidelines the church will be restricted to family only. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies may do so on the condolence section below.
