The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Hughes (née Ewings)
Ex N.T. Kilmactranny, Boyle, Co. Sligo.
Peacefully, on 12th Oct 2022, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat. Deeply regretted by her devoted daughter Marina and son John.
Much loved and sadly missed by her beloved grandsons Cormac, Pat, and Ben, great-grandson Teddy, daughter-in-law Marese, Cormac’s wife Mary, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence on Thursday afternoon (13th October) from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Highwood, arriving 8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11 o’clock, interment afterwards in Roundfort Cemetery, Co. Mayo, arriving 2.30 approximately.
