The death has occurred of Eamonn O’Dowd, Monteith Park, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, formerly Knocknaskeagh, Gurteen, Co. Sligo. October 11th 2022 peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of all the staff in Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Bertie & Maggie (née McGovern) & infant brother Albert. Remembered with love by his family, partner Sandra Donnelly, siblings Tommy, Joe, Brendan, Mary, Bernie & Joan, Sandra’s daughter Nadine, Joe’s partner Josaphine, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours & large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow on Wednesday evening, October 12th from 6pm until 9pm. Reposing at his brother Joe’s residence Knocknaskeagh, Gurteen, Co. Sligo on Friday afternoon October 14th from 3pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 1pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen (Funeral Mass can be viewed on the following link www.churchtv.com/gurteen) after which Eamonn will be laid to rest in Mount Irwin Cemetery.
