Peacefully in the loving care of the Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town in his 100th year.

Predeceased by his wife Mai, brothers Martin, Tom and Paddy, sisters Kathleen and Martina.

John will be sadly missed by his heartbroken daughter Anne, sister Carmel (Blackrock), sister-in-law Rita (Tulsk), nephews Pat (Elphin), John (Chicago) Patrick-John, Anthony (Dublin), Martin P (Boston) and Michael (London), nieces Ursula, Kate (Tulsk), Shoana (Dublin) and Vonnie (New York), their partners Caroline, Jörg, Paul, Michael and Victor.

He will be forever remembered by all his grand nephew and nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends. Especially Sharon who has played a very important role in John’s life down through the last few years.

Reposing at McGee’s Funeral home, Belleek Road, on Wednesday from 4 o’clock to 7o’clock. Funeral to arrive at St. Josephs Church, The Rock on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. With interment to the adjoining cemetery.
