The death has occurred of Desmond Edward (Des) Ward
“Tranquilla”, Kintogher, Sligo and formerly of Nahanna, Rathangan, Co.Kildare,
November 5th 2021, unexpectedly, following a very brief illness at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Dearly beloved husband of the late Ruth and loving father of Jennifer (Jenny) Lindsay (Strandhill Road, Sligo), Leslie (Drum Road, Rathcormack) and Gordon (Glasgow, Scotland). Sadly missed by his family, son-in-law Nigel, daughters-in-law Shirley and Marie, grandchildren Megan, Kyle, Colin, Andrew, Isaac and Samuel.
Removal to Calry Parish Church, The Mall, Sligo on Tuesday November 9th arriving for Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial follows in Drumcliffe Churchyard. In keeping with current Government regulations, please adhere to Covid 19 restrictions at all times. Family homes strictly private please.
