A former nurse originally of Cloonacool, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo, Det passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Det was the devoted wife of John Joe who predeceased her in February.

Cherished mother of Michael, John, Joseph, Annamarie and Sinead, adored grandmother of Claire and Daniel. Also Molly and Jack and their mother Aisling.

Sadly missed by her entire family, daughters-in-law Jacqui and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at St Bridget’s Church, Killargue on Sunday June 18 from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Funeral Mass at St Bridget’s Church at 12 noon on Monday June 19th. Burial afterwards at Killargue New Cemetery.
