Yeats Society Sligo is welcoming global and local visitors back to Sligo for the 63rd Yeats International Summer School today.
Students are arriving from the likes of France, South Korea, the US and UK to take part in the event.
Academic directors of the School this year are Charles Armstrong from Norway and Lucy Collins from UCD.
The Yeats Summer School is the longest running literary summer school in the world, continuing testament to the great poet and his enduring work,as relevant now as when written in the latter half of the 19th century and early 20th century.
