Sligo’s hurlers were beaten in their opening Christy Ring Cup game of the championship season on Saturday when London came from behind to win by 0-26 to 0-21 at McGovern Park in Ruislip.
Sligo were nine points up at one stage at this game, and led by five points (0-10 to 0-5) but London produced a strong second-half showing to turn the contest around.
There are six teams competing in the Christy Ring Cup this year.
Derry, Wicklow, Mayo and Kildare are the other counties.
Sligo are set to face Derry in match two of the round robin series next Sunday afternoon at Markievicz Park (2pm).
The sides met in the recent Division 2B hurling final which Derry won by five points.
