Planning Permission sought for the construction of Tele Communications equipment at Drumcliff and Ballymote



Planning applications have been lodged with the local Authority in Sligo for Tele Communications equipment to be erected in the North and South of the County.

 

 

Cignal Infrastructure LTD have applied for the erection of a new 35m pine tree multi-user telecommunications support structure carrying 9 antennas and associated remove radio units, 6 communication dishes, 1 lighting finial and 9 outdoor cabinets at Coillte Forest in Drumcliff.

 

The Company say the development will provide voice and mobile broadband services in the area.

 

Meanwhile Eircom Ltd (trading as eir) have lodged an application for the e erection of a 21 metre high telecommunications monopole together with antennas , dishes and ancillary works at the Eir Exchange off Lord Edward Street in Ballymote.
