€6,000 worth of drugs, believed to be cocaine, seized in Sligo



Gardaí in Sligo are continuing their investigations after the discovery in the town of drugs believed to be cocaine with a value of about €6,000.

The discoveries were made after gardai stopped a man driving a vehicle in the Ballytivnan area yesterday, Monday, evening.

Two white packages containing white powder, believed to be cocaine, were located, with an estimated value of €4000.

During a follow-up search at an apartment, a further amount of illegal drugs were located, also believed to be cocaine, with an estimated value of €2000.
