Naomh Eoin book their place in Connacht final

Naomh Eoin are through to the Connacht junior club hurling championship final after a 0-17 to 1-11 win over holders Carrick Hurling in Markievicz park on Monday.

Naomh Eoin led 0-11 to 0-6 points at the interval but an early second half goal from James McNabola cut the Sligo side’s lead to just two points.

John Doyle’s side immediately hit back with a couple of scores themselves and remained in front until the final whistle.

Naomh Eoin will now face Micheal Breathnach’s, the Galway champions, in the Connacht final on Saturday November 9th at the Connacht GAA centre of excellence in Bekan.
