No county in the country has the minimum level of dementia support according to new figures



A Labour Senator is calling on the Health Minster to come into the Seanad and discuss the needs of Alzheimer’s patients and their families.

It’s after figures released by the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland show that not one county in Ireland has even a minimum level of support for people with dementia.

Kevin Humphreys is one of a number of senators calling for a cross-party debate on the lack of services.
