People are being warned about high tides and cold water this Easter weekend.
The good weather will be sending many to our beaches and inland waterways and Irish Water Safety and the RNLI are asking goers to be safe.
Water temperatures are around half of what air temperatures ares, which could catch people of guard not used to cold water.
There is also going to be high tides in the North West this weekend.
Sligo Independent Councillor Marie Casserly says the tide will be at it’s highest this evening.
