A Donegal Cllr has said that the current roadworks in Ballybofey are a “mess”.
Work is continuing on a new footbridge between Ballybofey and Stranorlar while upgraded works are also being carried out in the Cappry area.
Motorists travelling from Sligo, Leitrim and South Donegal to the Irish Open in Ballyliffin today have complained of waiting up to an hour in traffic.
Local Cllr Patrick McGowan is calling on the council to sort out the situation quickly:
