Cook guides Wigan to famous win



Paul Cook’s magical FA Cup run with Wigan reached a new high last night as they dumped out Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Northern Ireland international Will Grigg got the only goal of the game ten minutes from time, as the former Sligo Rovers boss guided Wigan to a famous win at the DW Stadium.

Wigan had also previously knocked out Premier League sides Bournemouth and West Ha,, and they will face Southampton at home in the quarter-finals.
Cook guided Rovers to two FAI Cup titles during his time at the Showgrounds.
