Three young Sligo kickboxers, Ruth Conlon-Oates, Cathal Monds and Kyle Keaney, will all travel to Skopje in Macedonia this Friday to compete as part of the Irish team in the European Kickboxing Championships.
All three fighters dedicated their summer holidays to training for the prestigious event, making regular trips to Dublin for squad training along with training three times per week in their Collooney-based club under the watchful eye of chief instructor Des Leonard.
Ruth Conlon-Oates is current World bronze medallist and is eager to add a European title to her successful fighting career.
