Relegation six-pointer at Finn Park tonight between Harps and Galway

Finn Harps face a crucial League of Ireland Premier Division clash with Galway United in Ballybofey this evening (kick-off 8pm), where a win for Harps would be a significant boost in their bid to make it back-to-back seasons in the top flight.

Boss Ollie Horgan said: “All games in this league are important but home fixtures are especially key to our chances of trying to stay on course to keep Premier Division football in Donegal next year.

“Above all seasons it is so important with three teams facing automatic relegation. If we can stay up this season then it will be a massive boost to soccer in the county and we can build better and hopefully develop all aspects of Finn Harps. So we need the support of the football fans right across the county tonight against Galway United, who won’t be coming to Finn Park looking for a draw. They need to win and so do we, so a big crowd getting behind us would be really good for the lads who know that this is a massive match in our season.”

Tickets are available in all the usual outlets: Michael Murphy Sports, Letterkenny; Balor Theatre, Ballybofey; Barrett’s Bar, Ballybofey; Kernans, Newtown; The Coachhouse, Donegal Town; McCauley’s Restaurant, Lifford; and Macs Newsagents, Buncrana.

Supporters are also reminded to return all tickets for the Champions Travel Draw to Finn Park by tonight. Tickets can be returned at the game at the tearoom at the rear of the stand.
