Airports to play key part in promotion of Wild Atlantic Way



The airports in the North West are a key part of a new promotional campaign for the Wild Atlantic Way.

Failte Ireland says it’s been working closely with Ireland West Airport Knock as well as Donegal and Derry airports as part of a new 2017 promotion in Britain.

It was launched yesterday at cities in the UK that have key links to the North West like Liverpool, Manchester Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The 500,000 campaign is being run by Failte Ireland in conjunction with the county councils.

Joan Crawford of Failte Ireland says their focus is to get those with easy access through local airports to come to the region.

She says they will continue to work with the airports and the Local Authorities who are a key part of this campaign:
