Bundoran RNLI, Rescue 118 and the emergency services were tasked to a rescue in Mullaghmore on Saturday afternoon.
The alarm was raised after a casualty had fallen from a boat and was struggling in the water. The alarm was raised by a passerby who heard calls for help and dialed 999.
Passersby managed to help the casualty out of the water and onto land before the arrival of the emergency services.
The Bundoran RNLI crew arrived a short time after and administered first aid to the casualty.
The rescue was stood down once the man was transferred to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
