Sligo Rugby Club has launched a new Strategic Plan for the next five years (2024 to 2028).
‘ Inspiring generations’ focuses on continuing to develop as a strong community club as well as becoming a beacon of rugby excellence and high performance within the province.
The Club’s Strategy aims to focus on Growth, Retention and Achievement with an emphasis on enhancing player skills and high performance at U16 upwards.
The Club plans to attract more players into its Mini’s, juvenile, youth and senior men’s and women’s teams and it will conduct a big recruitment drive ahead of the next season.
Ocean FM Sport’s Austin O’Callaghan spoke to some of those involved with the development of the new plan, including Club President Rory Raftery.
