Ballymote’s Cormac Finn completed a memorable seven days in handball by winning Sunday’s All Ireland ThirdLevel Big Alley Colleges title in his hometown of Ballymote.
Finn, who was crowned All-Ireland U21 champion at Croke Park last weekend, was representing DCU in this intervarsities event – and he beat Kyle Jordan (SETU) 15-2 13-15 15-3 in a high-quality final.
Cormac’s sister Laura and Laois handballer Aoife Brophy, who were representing ATU Sligo, were defeated in narrow tiebreakers by Amy Brennan and Emer Barron respectively in the women’s competition.
