A traffic hazard on the N16 turn towards Lurganboy was raised at the latest Manorhamilton Municipal District meeting

The issue was flagged following concerns from the public, and the junction will now be assessed through a road traffic survey by the TII to weigh the need of a right turning lane.
Independent Councillor Felim Gurn highlighted that proactive measures should take place before it’s too late.
Cllr Gurn used the island that is currently in place at The Shrine in Glencar as a possible solution.
