Two of Galway’s star forwards, Shane Walsh and Damien Comer, are back in the Galway matchday squad for Saturday’s Connacht SFC semi-final against Sligo at Markievicz Park.
Walsh is named to start at centre-half forward, while Comer is on the bench.
The pair were among a host of Galway front-liners to miss chunks of the league but they have been drafted in for the trip to Markievicz Park this weekend.
Sean Kelly captains the side from midfield alongside the veteran Paul Conroy but Cillian McDaid is still missing.
Sligo will be without the injured Pat Spillane for Saturday’s semi-final as he continues his recovery from injury.
The Sligo-Galway semi-final will be live on Ocean FM Sport this Saturday from 3:30pm, in association with Oates Breheny Group.
