Sligo LGFA minor gaelic footballers made it two wins out of two on Wednesday evening with an emphatic 4-13 to 3-4 victory against Galway in Bekan.
Sligo actually kept their opponents scoreless in the opening half, as they established a 3-10 to 0-0 interval lead.
The result backed up their success seven days earlier against Leitrim in Curry.
In the evening’s other game, Mayo were too strong for Leitrim at the Air Dome.
They led by 3-13 to 0-2 at half-time and went on to run out comfortable winners.
