Sligo cruised past Leitrim in Sunday’s Connacht senior football quarter-final in Carrick-on-Shanon, to win on a final scoreline of 0-15 to 0-6.
The victory sets up a provincial semi-final meeting with holders Galway on Saturday, April 20th.

It was an afternoon to forget for Leitrim, who finished the game with 14 players after Shane Quinn was dismissed for two yellow cards in the closing stages.
