Keith Egan from Carton House is the 2024 Connolly Motor Group West of Ireland champion following his 3&2 win over Rosses Point’s David Brady in Tuesday’s final at Co Sligo Golf Club.

The sun shone on the final day’s play and Egan, who was arguably the most consistent player all week, closed out the final on the 16th green, having come from 1 down after four holes to be three up with three to play.
Egan has Sligo connections himself as his mum, Bridget, is a native of Strandhill.
He spoke to Ocean FM Sport’s Austin O’Callaghan after Tuesday’s success.
