Funeral arrangements announced for Una Bowden and her two daughters



The funeral arrangements for the Donegal woman and her two daughters that died following a tragic road accident in Mayo on Tuesday have been announced.

 

Una Bowen and her two daughters Ciara and Saoirse died when their vehicle collided with a fuel lorry on the N17 outside Claremorris.

 

Ms Bowden originally from Raphoe had been living in Moycullen for the past few years with her husband David and two daughters.

 

The remains of the three deceased will leave Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar at 2pm on Monday afternoon.

 

An open house wake will be taking place from Monday through to Wednesday at the Carlin Farm, Miltown, Raphoe,

 

The funeral procession will leave the Carlin house at 11am on Wednesday morning and travel to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe, for service at 12 noon.

 

Burial will take place afterwards in the old cemetery in Convoy.
