Sligo County Council have this evening issued a statement regarding the roadworks in Rathcormac.
The statement says that traffic management is in place to endeavour to keep traffic moving to the greatest extent possible.
The council are continuing to liaise with the contractor in relation to the matter.
The statement concludes by confirming that the contractor intends to have two-way traffic in place over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
