Gardai in Sligo are warning that they will be out in force this Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Extra checkpoints will be conducted throughout the course of the weekend with Gardai urging all motorists to adhere to the rules of the road.
People who are planning to go out socialising at various venues across the region over the coming days, are also being urged to act responsibly.
