Donegal U20s make it two wins from two

Donegal under-20 gaelic footballers made it two wins out of two in this year’s Ulster U20 championship on Wednesday evening with a decisive 1-13 to 0-5 win over Fermanagh at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.

Shaun Paul Barrett’s side led the Erne men by 0-8 to 0-4 at half-time – but Donegal stretched their lead in the second period with Patrick McElwee’s goal putting daylight between the sides.

Wednesday’s win backed up Donegal’s victory over Cavan two week’s ago which maintains their 100 per cent start to Section B of this year’s Ulster championship.

In the night’s other Section B fixture, Armagh beat Cavan by two points.

Section A
Derry 1-9 Tyrone 0-13
