Donegal can look forward to Division 1 football against in the Allianz League next season, following Saturday evening’s 0-17 to 1-8 win against Kildare in Carlow.
That win, coupled with Armagh’s victory over Carlow at the Athletic Grounds, ensures that Donegal and the Orchard County are both promoted, with one round of league games still to be played.
The result also confirms Kildare relegation to Division 3.
