A number of motorists have been caught speeding across Sligo and Leitrim as part of National Slow Down Day.
Some of the more notable detections in the region so far today include 148km/h in a 100km zone on the N4 at Carrowgubbadagh, Sligo
Another driver was clocked travelling at 87km/h in a 50km zone in Tubbercurry while another motorist was caught speeding at 141km/h in a 100km zone on the N4.
