The Bua Race: Ireland’s latest fitness trend born in Bundoran

The latest fitness craze to sweep across Ireland is the brainchild of a gym in Donegal.

The “Bua” race is a race set up by BMS Warehouse Gym in Bundoran.

The race consists of three zones, with different high-intensity exercises featuring in each zone. Each zone is timed, and whoever completes the zones in the quickest combined time wins.

A recent event was held in Bundoran to great acclaim, with the next one taking place in Bunclody, Co. Wexford on March 9th.

One of its creators, Lorraine Smyth of BMS Warehouse Gym has been telling Ocean FM Sport’s Dónal Ryan all about it.
