Sligo get vital win in Limerick



Sligo senior gaelic footballers have given themselves a solid platform in Division 3 of the Allianz Football League, following Sunday’s deserved 1-12 to 0-10 win over bottom-of-the-table Limerick in Rathkeale.

Paul McNamara’s first-half goal proved to be a key score – and helped Sligo record their second win of the league campaign, which sees them elevated to third in the table behind Down and Westmeath after three rounds of games.
