An injury time goal from Bohemians James Clarke denied Sligo Rovers an opening night victory to the new SSE Airtricity Premier Division season at Dalymount Park on Friday night, as the sides played out a 2-2 draw.
Clarke struck for the equaliser in the 94th minute when Rovers looked set to make a winning start to the new campaign.
First-half goals from Reece Hutchinson and Fabrice Hartmann had given Rovers a 2-1 interval advantage – and it looked like they were going to hold onto that lead until Clarke’s late strike.
