Roscommon cruised to a fourth Connacht FBD league title on Friday night at the Air Dome with an emphatic 2-25 to 0-13 win over Galway.
The winners, appearing in their 10th FBD decider in a row, were already out of sight by half-time, having established a 1-14 to 0-6 advantage.
And it didn’t get any better for Padraig Joyce’s side after the resumption as Roscommon remained in almost total control through to the final whistle.
Roscommon had 16 different scorers on the night.
Diarmaid Murtagh, playing in his 100th senior match for Roscommon, collected the silverware as captain after the final whistle.
