James Conway of Ballinacarrow in County Sligo has confirmed that he will contest the local election to Sligo County Council later this year.
He stood as a general election candidate, an independent candidate, in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency in 2020.
Mr Conway confirmed to Niall Delaney that he will stand in the local elections, but has not disclosed yet which party he will represent.
