Padhraic Corrigan & Dominic Kelly to manage Glencar/Manor

Glencar/Manorhamilton have appointed Padhraic Corrigan (PC) and Dominic Kelly as joint managers as the club’s new senior men’s football team.

The duo succeed Glen Young who guided the north Leitrim club to a Connacht Gold senior championship quarter-final last season.

Corrigan was manager of the Glencar/Manor women’s team in recent years, guiding them to unprecedented success, including a Connacht intermediate club title in 2020 – and a first-ever provincial senior club championship appearance in 2021.

The garda was also part of Glen Young’s coaching team during the Sligo man’s first tenure in charge of the seniors when they won a four-in-a-row of county titles (2008-2011).

Kelly, a former club player of distinction, has a detailed knowledge of the player scene at both senior and underage level in the county.

He was also a member of Glencar/Manor’s four-in-a-row senior championship winning side.

Glencar/Manor will be operating in Division 2 of the Leitrim Masonite league this season, having been relegated from Division 1 in 2023, along with Aughnasheelin.

Elsewhere, former Erne Gaels boss Seamus Ryder has been appointed as the new bainisteoir of Kiltubrid.

Ryder guided the Belleek club to two successive Fermanagh county finals in successive seasons.

Former Donegal senior manager Declan Bonner has taken over from Ryder at Erne Gaels – he will be assisted by Realt na Mara Bundoran’s Paul Brennan.
