Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon women’s gaelic footballers lifted the Donegal LGFA under-21 development league title on Friday evening with a 2-10 to 2-9 over Termon in Convoy.
Team captain Cait Gillespie scored 1-7 for the winners with Eimear McMahon converting a free in added time which would prove to be the matchwinning score.
Termon led this final by two points at the break – and had chances in the second half to win the match.
However, the racked up a succession of wides and it was the Ballyshannon who would hold on to claim the U23 title.
