Donegal TD supports plans to place portraits of female politicians in Leinster House



Donegal Sinn Fein Deputy, Padraic Mac Lochlainn, has waded into the controversy over the plan to place portraits of more female politicians in Leinster House, alongside those of ex-Taoisigh. He has taken issue with reservations expressed by TD Michael Ring, who has criticised the Green Party proposal to honour Sarah Cecilia Harrison in this way – she being the first female member of Dublin City Council
