Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision on the N4 in which a woman was killed.
The woman in her 80s died at the scene when the car she was driving, crashed on the N4 at Doon, near Boyle shortly before 5pm on Sunday evening.
The driver of the other vehicle, a man in his 30’s, was taken to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Anyone who was travelling on the N4 between Sligo and Boyle shortly before 5pm on Sunday evening and has dashcam footage is asked to contact Gardaí.
