Three calls for Arranmore RNLI over Christmas week



The volunteer crew at Arranmore RNLI responded to three calls over Christmas week.

 

The three calls for assistance took place on Tuesday, Wednesday and yesterday.

 

The first two call outs were to assist in medical evacuations from the island and the third was to bring the out of hours doctor on call to assess a patient on the island.

 

The crew attending the call outs were, Coxswain Jimmy Early, second coxswain, Sean O’Donnell, mechanic Philip Mc Cauley, second mechanic John Mc Hugh and crew members Finbar Gallagher, Kieran O’Donnell, Micky Mc Hugh, Brian Proctor, Jamie Neeson and JJ O’Donnell.

 

Sean O’Donnell said ‘We have been busy over the Christmas period but are always happy to answer the call for assistance.

 

Like all RNLI stations they are on call around the clock every day of the year. I would like to thank the crew who give their time all year but especially at Christmas time when they have families at home. We wish all a happy, peaceful and safe New Year’.
