Connolly’s Audi have confirmed their continued sponsorship of the West of Ireland Golf Championship at Co Sligo Golf Club for 2024.
Connollys Audi became the event’s title sponsors in 2022 and have now opted to continue their partnership with one of Irish amateur golf’s signature championships for a third consecutive year.
The 2024 event will take place next Easter from Good Friday, March 29th to Easter Tuesday, April 2nd.
Tournament organisers have still to publicly confirm what the format of the 2024 West will be
The current Top 16 matchplay for the climax of the championship, which had been trialled for the past couple of years, has been up for review – with some calling for return to the traditional top 64 matchplay series for the knockout stage of next year’s event.
